I haven’t filled you guys in on the plumbing case study in a bit. There hasn’t been much change once I had gotten into the teens. Most of the keywords have settled around the 14th to 24th spots, with a couple stragglers. I pointed a bit of extra power to the site a couple days ago and I am getting a bounce now. This is called the mousetrap, and it is Google trying to determine if those links are place by an SEO. They drop rankings and have the site bounce up and down for a couple days to motivate the SEO to drop the link. If the SEO falls for it and drops the new link Google will then push the site further down.
These are the rankings and you can see at the bottom a couple terms which the site temporarily dropped off for, and you will also notice some smaller bouncing on other terms. I expect after a few days of bouncing to push up probably to the first page for some terms. I also am going to apply another powerful technique to help drive the site up to the most clicked 1,2, and 3 spots.
